Venues outlive any single week. The directory keeps the room even when the room has nothing on, because that is the truthful state:

  • Filed — a venue enters the ledger the first time a lead or an event names it
  • Resolved — every event lands against one venue record, never a duplicate
  • Placed — a pin gets a neighborhood from the city's boundaries, not from a guess
  • Live — live means a built pipeline is watching, not that tonight is busy
