‘Marriage Story’ premieres at Paris Theater

We may always have Paris.

Netflix negotiated a deal to open the historic Paris Theatre for a limited run of Noah Baumbach’s film “Marriage Story,” but now we hear there may be a bigger deal in the works.

Weekend screenings drew VIPs Isabella Rossellini, Kyle MacLachlan, Patti Smith, Grace Coddington, Tracy Letts, Duncan Sheik, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Peter Scolari, Carla Gugino, Greta Gerwig, Alan Alda, Ray Liotta and Jane Fonda. Harry Styles, in town prepping for “Saturday Night Live,” saw it at the Paris on Saturday.

“Marriage Story” will debut on Dec. 6 on Netflix, and tickets are on sale for the so-far sold-out movie starring Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver at the Paris through Nov. 28.

There was buzz at the screenings that Netflix could reach a deal to keep the Paris open for as long as another decade showing the streaming service’s films, sources told us.
